The ident slideshow on the frontpage has been stuck on the Orange BBC2 ident all evening for me.

Still changing here.

How bizarre, it's started changing again.

Not seeing the top header image, it does look bare. Might be a local fault though.

Although it makes reading the forum slightly easier on the eye.

So, has anyone looked at the tvforum robots.txt file? This is the file that websites use to tell Google and others which content they can and can't cache and/or crawl.

The /random page is obvious but I wonder why Asa has specially disallowed search engines crawling the other topics/posts. I could just send a PM to Asa but I was hoping for some wild speculation before Asa posts the actual answer in a day or two.

Well, they all seem to be about individuals, so I would assume it is to stop any of the people mentioned in those threads finding their own thread in particular through searching their name, and thereafter suing TV Forum for any derogatory comments made on those threads. And I assume most of us know about the brief brushes with the law TVF has had over the years.

Anyone else finding this error cropping up when attempting to post?

...appeared when trying to post in The Newsroom.

Yeah it happened to me yesterday... It ended up posting the same thing 4 times

It posts the post then the post doesn't appear

It is also a different version of the gallery post, with updated images.

Whatever happened to the tooltips that displayed when you hovered your mouse over EPG, or TOTH? They appear to have just stopped working, and as far as my memory can tell, haven't been around for a while now.
