As has been mentioned, I do wonder why some are not using the thumb feature in The Gallery. Is it because of the few extra seconds required? Would it be possible for a thumbnail to be automatically taken from an image within the post?

Maybe you could explain how this is done, Juggy? I don't post in the Gallery (former 'Mocks Forum'), but I wouldn't know how to do a thumbnail if I did.

(PS: I notice that [strike]...[/strike] no longer works.)

Click on 'New Topic' in The Gallery and you'll see a box for the thumb!

so you'd have people able to delete massive long threads simply because they decide that they don't like them any more? that's a stupid idea.

also there are no files hosted by TVF to my knowledge, all images / videos are linked to from other sites

Not sure what it's like for anyone else, but I did have a thumbnail image for my studio mock in the Gallery - a couple more replies later and it's gone. I can't re-add the thumb as "the topic title is invalid or empty". Confused

Ah, that may be why then! I'm sure there were more thumbnails on Saturday come to think of it.

As others have mentioned, an issue with the "go to new posts" feature which is just sending you straight to page one.

Think so, I've IE6 here at home where I took that grab. Problem is at work we can't have anything else because it bu***rs up all the software we're supposed to be using!
