Loving the new look. 
I think there's just a couple of glitches (on 1024x768);
- The "newest member" and "online member" section at the bottom of the homepage has the box for "The Gallery" overlapping across it so you can't read some of that member text.
- The "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the homepage is broken.
Just noticed you have to put a character or <space> after you do an emoticon shortcut otherwise they don't show up.

I've only got one problem with the new site: I'd only been on here for a maximum of ten minutes and all the "new posts" disappeared I.e. when there's a new post in a thread since you've last been on here, the thread appears green rather than yellow, yet after about ten minutes, they all turn yellow again.
Is it possible to extend the period you have to have been on the site before the posts no longer become "new"? It was much longer on the old site.
It's fantastic otherwise; just wished there was more variety in the images at the top ; they all seem to be from the same sort of period. Plus, will the image on the home page (currently the BBC Two ident of the fly-trap) change?

The "Logout" link on the top menu doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Before I log in the posting times were all over the place... the previous posts was made a 11.24am apparently!

I have a 22 inch HP High Definition screen and it is full width for me!
I'm on a 22" and like Hyma says the V is directly under the balloon. Resolution is 1680x1050

I've taken a screenshot to highlight some of the gaps and misalignments on the homepage in Firefox 3.0.8.
The white thing under Big Ben disappeared for a while earlier, but it's back again now.
