it was full width during the beta period however it resulted in posts ending up as very very long single lines of text and the logo having a habit of floating in a sea of blue.

what could work is using the bbc system and having an off colour margin framing the page. although it's hardly a high priority.


I have a 22 inch HP High Definition screen and it is full width for me!

as in stretching to full width? what resolution / browser are you using? The V in the logo should be directly under the baloon in the header

I'm on a 22" and like Hyma says the V is directly under the balloon. Resolution is 1680x1050

Well I have to say it does look fantastic. A lot of hard work has obviously been put into every aspect. Worth the wait!

It's a shame mockers aren't using the thumbnails in the Gallery.

I think it looks great, nice & fresh but not too much of a radical change. Like the new logo as well.

I did use the thumbnail feature for my 'GMTV Recreation', but after some replies were posted the thumbnail image disappeared. I don't know if it's something I've done or what?

I do like it but (and this is just a small but) I do miss the breathing space of the old design and is there any chance of a facility to view all the new posts since your last visit? A fair few forums I frequent have this feature on and I find it quite useful. Just a thought.

Does your browser have a zoom function - if so, make sure it's at 100%.

I'm sure my join date was before January 2003 as well, can't remember the exact date though,
but it was definitely before the famous TVF server crash of 2003 that borked everything!

I do like the way the message entry area slides down to reveal the message preview pane
when the Preview Post button is clicked. No need to wait for another page to load with
the message preview. Very slick. Is this part of phpBB3, or exclusive to TVF?
