As most people here will know, LWT celebrated its last day of presenting programmes in London, with a few tributes made with logo lovers in mind.

For those parts where they wanted widescreen idents and captions, they turned to Dave Jeffery to create them in Flash. You can now see the material he produced, in Flash format (including early drafts and other stuff that wasn't broadcast) at LWT Flash Files at 625.uk.com.

Hope you like it!

Great stuff !! I will have to wait till later to see the files because the work PCs where I am won't download Flash Crying or Very sad

BTW I'm not a pedant but I think it would be worth correcting this line...

The tribute wouldn't have been complete with the help of veteran announcers Trish Bertram and Glen Thompsett.

Not that the venerable Ms Bertram or Mr Thompsett won't know what you meant !! But I thought I'd point it out so it can read as intended!

What's wrong with that?

Hi Andrew - I was actually on your website earlier today, and saw all the new LWT files. They look great.

Try replacing "with" with "without". I didn't point out the mistake as I thought it would be patronising to do so.

EDIT: Aha! You've spotted it! Good.

Aaahhhh... I see. Yes, I would change that Mr Wiseman! "With" to "without".

Brilliant site by the way.

It's now fixed. I must admit I missed this typo even when it was pointed out to me - I thought the complaint was about the word "veteran" at first!!

BTW thanks Lance and DAS for your kind comments!
