If anyone doesnt remember,look at the bullying that some people have given me in the first page of the original topic for this site.
Just because I was just started with the site,that Hymajumba guy made that stupid reply in which I still dont understand and the last act I am going to make on the site is a message slamming him and everyone else who disrespected the work that Ulster Television have done over the past 47 and a half years and which has made them in my opinion the best region of all of them.And the people who dont understand the glorious days of UTV during the 80's going into the new millennium.
From the huge risk that Ulster Television took by changing their name to UTV and winning the hearts of millions in Ireland with their brilliant production and their genius work on the logo which increased their popularity.From Julian Simmons' witty comments during his in-vision continuity to the moving stories on UTV Live,UTV has been through everything and they are still going,maybe not with the same vibe as they had in years past but still in good shape.
So I give this reminder to those people who havent just mocked me,but UTV.

The reason people had such a negative reaction to it is because it has been done before. 5 Years ago the only pres sites i can think of around were MHP and TV Ark. MHP has pretty much died and TV Ark is going pretty badly with technical issues.

It is often the younger members [like myself] that want to set up a website or a Pres forum because they want to be in charge of everything and everyone. Basically if you wan't to do it properly;

1. Buy a domain site,
2. Build up a bank of clips and stills,
3.Don't Websnatch!

The most important rule to remember is

DON'T WEBSNATCH!!!

Copying material from others' sites is bad etiquette. If you need help gathering clips, use the requests forum. And once someone's given it to you, you need to credit the video's supplier (if you didn't record it yourself) and the broadcaster. For example, like this:

Quote:
Thanks to John Smith, Peter Doe and Emma Jackson for kindly supplying the videos. Videos are © 1960-2007 The Big Chain Broadcaster. The videos appear here for educational purposes only and will be removed immediately at the copyright holder's request. No infringement is intended, and this website has no connection with any broadcaster.

Yeah. You're still meant to give the people some credit.
