I must say, Stevie, your site just keeps getting bigger and better.
UTV Live/News is looking a whole lot nicer as well.

I know it's been a while but I've finally finished uploading my latest update which includes over 400 video clips ranging from early 2007 up until around June/July time. I'm not going to post here all that's in it because there would be too much but feel free to take a look here to find out.

Also today I have just finished uploading UTV's Christmas presentation which has aired so far. It includes 10 of the 13 idents, some ECPs and some programme promos. Obviously some sections aren't active yet such as the Christmas Programmes and In-Vision Continuity but that's because they haven't aired yet! They will follow shortly, as will the video clips.

Anyway, apologies for the lack of updates this year but you'll understand why if you read the Updates page via the link above!

Stevie, could you PLEASE remove the QuickTime video from the front page? I can't get to your website anymore because the video turns all lime-green and my computer crashes.

The "Quick Clip" on the left hand side of the homepage doesn't show up for me - it's a red x.

It's your browser not Steve thats generating the Quicktime image. Download VLC Media Player and right click and download the file instead.

Today I've added lots more of this year's Christmas presentation: promos, ECPs, in-vision continuity from both Julian Simmons and Marc Mallett, and Christmas and New Year breakbumpers. I've also added the celebrations from this year's Christmas week on UTV Life and caps of the religious programme which was shown on Christmas Day, It's a Baby.

Still to come: Gerry Kelly's New Year's Eve Party, UTV Rewind New Year Special and the rest of the Christmas idents.

Now that I'm off uni for Easter I've been trying to get up to speed with the updates for UTV Today. I've just finished the second quite large update and did another one yesterday. Here's my entry from the Updates page describing what's in the two updates:

Update 1: Tuesday 18th March

Just an image update for now, the Christmas videos are on their way, I promise! Firstly, I've finally added the rest of the images of the Christmas idents from this year (yes, all three different versions!). I've also added more images of the current set of idents. I now have 22 out of the 25 online, as well as UTV Rewind idents, some promotional ones and some special Rugby World Cup ones! That section has been rejigged a little to accommodate those. Talking of the Rugby World Cup, as you may have seen on the homepage, I've started to upload some of this material. It's a bit sparse at the moment but the rest of it will be coming in the next image update.

As you will also probably already know, UTV Life made a comeback to our screens in September 2007. Until now, I didn't have any UTV Life material online, however, it now has its own section which can be accessed from the News menu. This too is a work in progress so you may notice that there aren't too many descriptions etc. and some of the images may be in the wrong place. This will be sorted some time soon.

The only other major update for now is the addition of the UTV Autumn Driveaway to the Competitions section. This competition ran for quite a few months so there is a considerable amount of material to be added to that page, including the competition winner who was disqualified! (You can see this on my YouTube channel if you can't wait!) So far I have weeks 1 and 2 of the Autumn Driveaway uploaded. The rest will follow shortly.

Update 2: Wednesday 19th March

Well, I stuck to my word and have uploaded the rest of the Rugby World Cup material to the Programmes section. I've also added more material to the UTV Life pages and tidied them up a bit. The disqualified winner of competition 2 in the UTV Autumn Driveaway has been uploaded, as has the third competition in the series, including the new graphics which were introduced.

Jenny Bristow's USA has been added to the Programmes section as well as the series of programmes and social action films on the topic of 'U Can Make a Difference'. A total of 502 images have been uploaded in this update.
