Yes, this is in the wrong forum, it should be in the media websites/mock designs forums but it'd probably be lost down there and I think it's important and of interest to lots of you.

Basically the BBC is now opening up lots of dynamic information feeds for people to develop their own applications, and within the website above are quite a few nice apps already.

I like the demo of the wikipedia thing where words get turned into links.

Very good idea this. Run on movable type but never mind. I've never undestood the BBC's love for Perl.

'Tis very efficient, far more so than PHP, and more reliable than Java for interoperability.

I can honestly tell you Nick that I've been slaving away for the last 24 hours - it's more strenuous than a BBC News 24 relaunch.

Oh and moved to media websites.
