Where have all the TVForum mods gone?

Is it just me or is there fewer and fewer moderators regularly about on TVForum? About a year ago I think there were 5 or so, but since then many have faded away it would seem.

Whilst I wasn't a great fan of the 'zero-tolerance weekend' a few months back, with the school holidays beginning TVForum really needs it. I've nothing against 'school aged people' who wish to discuss TV related stuff in as part of an adult discussion. However a quick look over the forum shows topics being hijacked for off-topic discussion as well as topics which at best are better suited to Metropol.

I'm sure that thread title reminds me of a hymn we sung in school assembly years ago!

I remember MrTomServo popping up on Metropol sometime ago saying that he no longer has the time to look at the Forum due to his social life.

In the absence of the likes of Mr Tom, there are plenty of other people ready and willing to keep these stupid little juveniles in order.

well, bearing in mind i am only 16 (just left school though) and have been "mocking" since i was 11 (i thought i was the only one!), i hope you dont mind me posting.

I was 15 when I first found this forum, didn't join till last year as I felt I wouldn't be welcomed as people knew my age. Im now 17. still going to school and have a life, I did leave school for 2 weeks 7 weeks ago! teachers gave me so much **** I left, but went back as I couldnt get a job and was bored! anyway that has nothing in relation to what I want to say! All I was going to say, that Charlie Wells said this is "adult discussion" is this true? I didn't know there was an age restriction for people being interested in tv and wanting to discuss it. As bander said. I myself have been mocking for years, none of course that great, and got more interested in tv when I started watching bbc world occasionally!

But who will keep the tiresomely pompous and pedantic gits, who ought to be old enough to know better, in order??
