I don't see why people are making such an issue about an topic being sticky. There are many other issues to be worrying about on the forum than this.

I'm a tough love peace-ish person, and this thread is making me giggle.

Many people on here work in the media, but they don't all feel the need to utilise the forum as a vehicle to promote their latest project.

The precedent has been set, will a similar favour be extended to others ?

I did give it some thought but at the end of the day, I was intrigued to see the reaction - from those very vocal, those who didn't mind and those that couldn't care less. I've turned down lots of these requests in the past but didn't see the harm in an experiment involving an existing member as opposed to a company directly (as has often previously been the case).

It's sad that some have to go all tabloid "TVF in crisis!" mode both here and on MP24/7 but whatever floats your boat.
