A hearing? This is an internet forum, I'm sure members who have been here long enough would be able to hazard a guess as to who they were anyway. But honestly, a hearing?
Someone once said to me here that I should get out more after I took something a little too seriously, I pass on that advice now..

EMERGENCY ITEM 4: A hearing should take place immediately to find out the moderator who made the four threads sticky, and a vote should take place to either re-elect or de-moderate him.

I'm not getting too worked up about it but i suppose i agree with #1.
I refuse to get into the whole moderator debate blah de blah but Gav is the the bestest mod ever.
It's all good fun innit!

I see you've only been here for 15 months and so you won't remember the mod elections we held a few years ago. To briefly summarise, the election was, from what I can remember, a bit of a disaster. The member who was elected is no longer a moderator and instead, Asa decided to appoint Charlie Wells. I doubt we'll go back to holding an election as it proved far too divisive.
You have to remember that this website is a hobby site with volunteers running the whole thing. All the moderators have busy lives outside of this website. Some people can get carried away and take the forum far too seriously. It is and always has been a hobby site where TV pres fans can meet and talk about their shared interest. Introducing politics into it just divides the community.

I dont have a problem with any of the mods, but I think one should be elected by TVF users to represent the views of TVF users. I agree that Gavin should be a mod, this would also help bridge the gap between TVF and Met

As I say, I dont have a problem with any of the mods, in fact I actually think you all do a very good job, and this is just a minor hiccup which has upset a few people.
I don't know about the election, if it proves unsuitable then fair enough, however, perhaps some consultation with the grassroots membership might be fesible the next time a mod is appointed.
