I'm more than sure 'Jim' has given up now. It was a nice surprise to see an update from him but I'm not expecting anymore than that.
I think the 'Update' was done by a hacker, but the last Official update was October 2001, a great site in the early days of Internet, very handy on a 56k connection.
Not sure what this new craze of putting the URL in the topic title is all about, but never mind. It's a shame TV World dropped off the net, as it was a good site at the time, back before every man and his dog just bought a DVB capture card and chucked up 10,000 grabs of today without much thought.
That part of the reason why I would like to know about the site, is it includes clip of
* Final Thames LWT, night time service
* Clip of NEW LWT/Carlton night time service ( SEE img above) which has yet to RE-appear on internet.
as some may be aware I have taken an interest to see what ITV night time was all about day in the day and some people like tesandco have help fill in some of the gaps. But gaps still exists and also some unanswered questions. I still found it very strange that some compaines went a bit cooky with night time, other tried to be young and hip with Scottish tv played it straight!

I've got that clip from his website buried on an CD back up that I burned when I got a new PC.
Assuming it's the same clip I'm thinking off, the final continuity announcement just before the final TVam was a still of the generic 1989 ITV logo on a black background and had the announcement along the lines of "That's it... The final ITV Night Time and from me, Martin Wheedon* It's Good morning and Goodbye"
* Don't quote me on the announcers name as my memory is a bit patchy.
