Whats happened to TV Whirl? i went to tvwhirl.co.uk but just says 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed'. It must be getting updated Confused: Confused: There is a Terence's TV Whirl page back from 2001 though. Click below for it,

*shivers* Oh, the old, old, old design. Embarassed

Anyway, it's back up and running fine again now. The server with it on was down (again) earlier though for a short while. Actually, I'm getting that fed up with the hosts downtime (and everyone thinks so highly of them too) that I may be moving the site again soon.

Ah right. They're actually done entirely with stylesheets and div tags (not a table in sight), and use semi-transparent PNG images to create the glassy background. That works fine in Mozilla and Opera and most other modern browsers that support alpha-transparency, but needs some additional hacking to work in 'We don't need any standards' Internet Explorer.

Not easy to do as it's all intertwined into the site, but I'll see if I can separate out the basic stuff when I have a spare moment. Smile

(Although be aware, the semi-transparent stuff all but kills the browsers of people with slower computers!)
