Are there actually any TV pres sites around now which are working perfectly? TV Ark's closed until December, The TV Room's relaunched but with half the images missing, all PP files have disappeared...

When you try accessing the site, you get an message explaning it's offline because of 'a combination of technical issues and pending a decision about it's future'.

This is good ol' Nini we're talking about, so being lost is part of the course. Wink The keyword in the current bit of blurb on TV Whirl about the end of May is of course 'Due' to. I'm actually hoping to have a bit of a smaller interim experimental site running within the next week or two, just don't expect anything revolutionary just yet. >.>

Look at that, its not quite the end of May, and a massive update. Well okay so it's not the complete site, however it is tentatively named in as Revision 14.Alpha, as its more of an experimental release in how well the server copes (if it copes >.>), as well as some other tests dotted around the sites on a select few clips (Heineken's a good drink).

The majority of the video content, or at least 891 files worth of it, is now back on the site too, much of it recaptured in higher quality, with improvements and fixes to some of the other videos (like trying to iron out as many lipsynching issues as possible).

As I say this is only the beginning. The site is yet to be rebuilt completely, so links and video file sizes are pretty rough and ready at present. There's also no guarantee the files wont all go down in the next few days, but that depends on how close my estimations were. Razz
