For about a month now The TV Room has had no video files avalible and now lots of the pages are coming up with 'Error 404 Page Not Found'
Can someone please tell me what has happened to this site?

Thanks, DigiDude

Good to see it back, but it's typhical the BBC1 ident is up their within an hour of screening, while there are still no captures of the new ITV1 batch, but I expect the TV Room will have them up their in time.

That is quite an unfair accusation. ITV 1 was covered in great depth when it relaunched last year...and updates were there within an hour of the material going out on air. Same with ITV 2...and most other channels.

The lack of updates this week has been due to the fact that I've been quite ill. This also caused a delay in getting the new page layouts online.

The BBC ONE ident is an easy update.

I must admit, the thought of being 'back to square one' with ITV 1 in less than a year, is not a pleasant prospect!! Anyhow, there is certainly no lack of ITV 1 material on the site.

RTE ONE and RTE News updates will be held back due to lack of availability of a good quality feed of the channels.

Sorry - sometimes on the web you forget the people putting the content up are human (I presume you are human - or at least a very well trained animal). I did follow the last ITV1 relaunch on your site throughout the day, and that's what frustrated me - your normally the first with the downloads and have a reputation that leads visitors to expect them to be their quite quickly.

Re: updating. I don't envy you there. When it became clear on Monday the changes were much bigger than expected, one of my first thoughts was for the web wizards such as yourself who had only just sorted the last lot. I imagine from your perspective, BBC1 introducing an ident every couple of months is much better than ITV1 introducing 60 new idents in one go less than a year after the last lot.

Yes, I agree.

This site gets better and better. The design is constantly improving and the content is amazing.

Well done to Mike and Martin!

oooh - I like the new look. It's still very slack in Mozilla compared to IE but is a tad closer than it used to be.

I miss the old footer though - I liked that curvy one you used to have.
