Might as well join in the barrage of questions

Any plans to put up some RTÉ outtakes into the vacant link on the site Mike?
It's be great if you could, shouldn't be too difficult - just set the recorder to capture at six o'clock and by half nine you'll have enough to start up another site

Only the other night Jean Byrne was on the weather (the very particular one that always says "and back now tototonight" - and at the end she thought she was off air and chatted away to off-camera "I think that went rather well don't you?"

Actually any plans to update the out-take sections?

Brilliant collection of five idents now up there, seems like almost all of them!

Although, I do remember there being an ident where the 'five' is shown on an ultrasound scan, which I don't see there.

There's a fault on the third page of the current set of RTÉ One idents, the last few links to the video clips don't work.

Thanks for pointing that out Steve. It seems that none of the video links on that page were working. Should be fixed now.

The TV Room, how did you get the BBC World Idents for your website, do you recieve it on a satlight system or record them over a live stream online?

I'd like to say Thanks for The TV Room for recapturing all of the RTÉ stuff at a higher quality.

At the moment, the plan is that The TV Room Plus material will be updated more regularly from the Autumn. That's the intention anyway.

Yes, you've spotted the only one that I'm aware of that is missing. I suspect that particular one may have been withdrawn. I haven't seen it on air in months.

The vast majority of video clips that were captured from the late 1990s through to 2001 will be replaced with better quality versions, with a larger viewing area, over the next six weeks or so. Work began on replacing these clips a few months back. However, I'm now trying to speed up the process. Most of these older clips also happen to reside on a server that I want to get rid of as soon as possible.

On a related note, if anyone happens to stumble across any broken video links, please e-mail me. Don't rely on someone else to report the fault.
