Been over Central today, pretty much reworded the Pres paragraph and added some facts.

Good job you did! I believe some minor change will be needed for cake, of course only after a bit more digging around.

Is it possible to get the Ref button put back in?

I don't know how to do that, I'm sure one of the other admins will be able to do that.

Basic < ref > < /ref > and {{Cite web}} added.

Just to inform people the following pages are far Superar than wiki, with more refs and details in the history.

* http://www.tvlivenews.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Scottish_Television

* http://www.tvlivenews.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Challenge

* http://www.tvlivenews.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=HTV

Of course HTV can do with a bit more history but if you know any please highlight it!

* http://www.tvlivenews.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Night_time Has all the pres returned:

A good number of pages are now going through improvement phrase, and thus same still look a bit down at the heel etc but it will take time. Two such page are

* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=CITV
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=Flextech

Hopeful it will look better by next week.

Fixed those disambiguation needed links on the CITV page. Copy/paste from Wikipedia I assume? Disambig can't be required if they're red links.

Yes and no. Underlining back of this page did come from wiki BUT it does have more information and ref than wiki with more to come. Thus it will be better than wiki.

I was referring to the section I corrected, the presenters list.

By the way, Wikipedia doesn't like the Wiki abbreviation because it's the generic name of the technology. Use the full name or WP. It's in their own guidelines.

Wiki can pee off when it comes to that

Wikipedia's stance on it notwithstanding, it does come off as ambiguous if you just call it "wiki"* - it's like calling this place "Forum" Wink

I wish to ask if anyone can "REWRITE" some pages on the site. The thing is there details and ref are not the problem its the layout and needs copyedit etc. The thing is on normal wiki 99% of all pages I upgrade get copyedit by someone else. Here is a clear eg:

My version: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sesame_Street_in_the_U.K.&oldid=449206953
Copy edit version: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sesame_Street_in_the_U.K much nicer but has all the ref and details I created. If anyone have a few spare mins ete, the following do need it:

* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=Yorkshire_Television - In history section:
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=BBC_Scotland - Whole page:
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=Carlton_Communications - Whole page:
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=Flextech - 1992 - 2007 ( sky takeover should not really need it)
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=CITV - 2000-2008 Section
* http://www.tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=STV_Group - History
* http://tvlivewiki.co.uk/index.php?title=Granada_plc Missing alot of information

Again It really is a utter DISGRACE the lack of proper information about TV companies etc on wiki or on the net, and it really will not take months to sort out alot. I just cant understand how or why this has happened.

Because of problems with the registration form to join the wiki (which I hope are fixed soon), if you want to join, PM me here with a username and an e-mail address, and I'll manually set an account up.
