TV Live will soon be undergoing its biggest changes since 2009. We will be moving most of our TV Live sites to new hosting, which will allow our sites (including Extra and News) to be hosted in one place. As part of the refresh, the tvlivenews.co.uk and tvliveextra.co.uk domain names will no longer be used, with the new sites using the tv-live.org.uk domain. The Wiki site is not affected by these changes, as I feel that moving the Wiki would be troublesome.

With these changes, there will be a new look to TV Live as well as the Extra and News sites. We're not changing our branding, as it's still very popular with visitors, although we may consider new colour schemes for our services.

I anticipate that the new hosting will be up and running in the next few days, then it'll be a case of transferring everything over, which I hope won't take too long. I will be looking into how to transfer everything over without manually entering everything again, as I don't particularly want to do that again!

I really want to thank Terence Burridge for hosting TV Live for the last 4 years and James Higham for hosting the News and Extra sites over the last 4 years. Their support and assistance has been fantastic over the years, and I hope they can continue to provide support to TV Live for years to come.

All has gone to plan, and TV Live has now moved to new webhosting. No new look yet though. The site is fully operational at tv-live.org.uk if you can see it, you may have to wait a while for the DNS to propagate... the Extra and News sites will be moved over over the weekend.

Thanks for your patience.

Just a small point - if you try and go to the site without the www. prefix it doesn't load.

Will try and look into that. Cheers Paul.

Rob, why are you launching more websites again? Did you learn nothing from the first time you had a gazillion websites within the 'TV Live Network' - only for you to then wrap them all up. You must spend hours running Wordpress installs, the amount of sites you create. Granted they're now all on sub-domains and not external, but they're still their own sites, separate to the main website.

Oh, and as for the logos - it seems we're back to scrabble letters:

*

(Let's have a small reminder about my last post, regarding your sites branding)

I count TV Live, Extra, Wiki, and this new Listings Archive. That's four. Two really seeing as Extra and Listings Archives are basically sections on the main site.

Rob can do whatever he likes with his sites and already took on-board the criticism you and others, including myself, gave.

Personally I'm glad a new listings site has arrived, with the demise of sites like The TV Room Plus there are few, if any, sites left to share this kind of information and it's great that there's a new place for them. Even if it previously existed on the TV Live site it's nice to see it's getting its own promotion Smile

That's a blog, not a site or section of a site.

I think this is a postie addition to his website, which will allow for a lot of users from TV forum and other places to help build up a new archive old TV listings.

It's a blog on a separate domain - I class that as a separate site.

Not really sure why you care enough to argue about this anyway. This is a thread on TV Live and it will remain on that, rather than petty arguments.
