Hmm can't say I'm going to miss the many spin-offs but let's be clear about one thing - TV Live is really the only Pres site doing what it does at the moment, and the TV Live wiki is a fantastic idea and thanks to 623058 risks being the most accurate wiki on the net. I definitely think these are the right parts to be focusing on.

Thank you Ben. Just what I needed to hear. Smile

My comments have only ever been to help the website. I mean, I've even donated content to your website before (think Bid, Price Drop and Speed Auction) along with being a visitor since your launch. I feel sad you've now started to comment about me on Twitter, when all I've tried to do is help to give you restructuring advice to best keep your website brand alive. If I didn't care about the site I wouldn't spend my time creating posts for this thread to try and push you in the right direction.

I apologise if my comments towards you were a bit extreme. I was rather upset when I posted that podcast (which I really shouldn't have posted). I have tried my hardest to accept and act on the constructive criticism posted in the last few hours. Now I've done it, can we please draw a line under this and move on?

Thank you.

And its never ending! I have a Huge backlog of stuff trying to get sorted, and sometime trying to filter throw all the details to make sure what been added is not getting to a point its overloading people, but making sure the main points are know. Were 6 months down the line and were still only about to finish the correct detail project for Main Ch1- ch5 stations. That list will be getting sent off once it finished to other places. God only know how long it will take to get Original sky channels details sorted. I do understand that trying to create something out of nothing takes a very long time and making sure it being updated regularly is also not easy. Trying to what seems like cleaning up a mess made by other people is not easy either, How hard is it get someone name right.

I can see what some people are saying. I think most people here are trying to make sure Main priorities are the main forces, Look at TV room merged with some website and expanded onto TV room plus and WHAT HAPPENED? FUD>..... half the content is missing, Room plus is never finished and the main site has now been left to rot. I dare say many get the bad feeling the content could will be lost forever in a few years time.

Some of the ideas of expanding TV live could ahead of its time.

I appreciate nok32uk's comments about the podcasts, and I think they can be improved, and I'm hoping to make changes to the podcast in coming weeks.

Well I missed Episode 8! Laughing

Looking forward to the changes, we need a good podcast/radio show that discusses TV Pres imo

I have to say I'm surprised and disappointed. I had uploaded some mocks last week and now they may not be shown. But keep going please.

You could set up your own site if you want to display them. The problem really was that TV Live's resources were getting spread a little too thin, and I agree that the core site and the wiki are where the focus should be. There was once a very successful mock TV website - Afternoon Programmes Follow Shortly. I think it's webmaster Mark McMillan closed it for personal reasons about 7 years ago.

There were lots of reasons, although I think the launch of the APFS network role-play channel thingy took the focus away from the main site somewhat.

This is still confusing me!

http://tv-live.org.uk/wp/index.php/uktv/gold/ uk gold 1992-1997 - GAP - 2004 now: that fine but

http://tv-live.org.uk/wp/index.php/uktv/ in another section 1997 - 2003 idents are held

why are there split up?

Minor error on Yorkshire's page.
Quote:
1994 – 1996
Surprisingly the generic look remained on air for 6 years, long after the vast majority of ITV companies had binned their respective generic idents. So 1995 saw a long overdue refresh to Yorkshire presentation. Images from around the region were placed beneath a radiant chevron. The new idents were the first YTV idents not to feature the "Ilkley Moor Ba’ Tat" jingle used since the station’s launch.
That should be 1994, not 1995.
