TV Jobsites

I'm currently studying for a Media Professional Studies degree at Liverpool John Moores Uni and would like to do some work experience in TV or Radio production but do not know where to start looking. Does anyone know of any good sites to start from or have any pointers for me in finding something? It would need to be in the North West area.
