No plans to, they can be buried in the Oneness page
(they’re not that bad I suppose, music is quite nice)
I do want to improve the site navigation though, it’s not that obvious there are collection
Recordings are now being done on a new dedicated RPi3 which hasn’t fallen over yet like the old one so that’s good. There are still a few issues though - BBC Four’s 'accurate recordings' have been mistimed over the last few days, sometimes before the previous credits have even rolled. Not sure why, given One/Two have been pretty reliable. There also seems an issue recording the 7pm junction, possibly because it starts listening before the channel starts, so maybe it’s instantly failing the recording.
BBC Three programmes are now prefaced by either the normal sting or part of the programme with “BBC Three presents” (or occasionally both, which is just daft) so I’ve not got a hope of working that one out.
I’m testing moving away from Elastic Transcoder for converting the videos to a manually built lambda hosting FFMPEG. It’ll give me more flexibility and after 4500 recordings, should be a lot cheaper to run too! Who knew the BBC aired so many junctions in just a few short months! The switch over should be seamless once I’m confident with the results. After that, it’ll be better ident detection and naming accuracy.
