It won't be, Asa is/has/continues to write his very own software for this place, which takes alot of time. And as TVF is working fine as it is theres no rush.

Is anyone else having trouble changing their signature? Also does anyone know when this forum will get phpBB3ized?

Yeah, you're right. We get hacked all the time, we should definitely upgrade to a recent Release Candidate.

The thing is, TV Forum is running on an extremely old version of phpBB, which is just RIDDLED with security holes. If I were Asa, I'd get focused on upgrading the forum software so that we don't get hacked.

I've used phpBB3 recently, and it's extremely stable. I'd say, in terms of stability, it's pretty much ready for prime time.

So have I, regularly. However, I'd rather we waited until Asa's own software for TVF is made, rather than having an uncustomised version of phpBB3.

I don't have a site. I have some test forums, but they're empty and of no use to anyone.

I hardly think the forum is going to upgrade to phpBB 3 for a very long while. Sites that don't need any mods installing still aren't using it. Also, it is only on Release Candidate - not making it a full release. It's close though.
I feel sorry for a certain website (which I won't name*) as they have to upgrade 32 servers to phpBB3. Luckily they only have a couple of mods.
