Is everyone else getting all sub titles in Multiview prefixed "From media websites"?

Yes, I think it's because the BBC graphics archive thread in Media Websites has been linked to in TV Home Forum too, but that prefix is appearing on every thread on Multiview.

Recently there seems to have been a rise in Gallery comments along the lines of:

'Could you make a logo-less version of this'

Or

'Do more variations'

Or

'Make a Sky One logo'

To me it seems like they are just doing it for personal gain to use the mock for something else. Most don't even leave criticism or post anywhere else on the forum.

Don't know if it's just me and whether it's a TVF or Metropol issue, but when I click the button to take me to the uploader it now brings up an Apple dialog asking me to log in. I can still access the uploader 'manually' through the website though.

I think it needs to go to https://up.metropol247.co.uk as if you cancel the error message you get (on Windows Firefox anyway) an error symbol in the address bar about it being unsecure. If you go to the https link it works fine.

Are we expecting a new Christmas TV Forum look shortly? It's feeling rather un-Christmassy with most broadcasters now decorated for Xmas.

Don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed the forum has been going offline between about 6am and 7am for the last few days because of a "time out error".

The Saturday just gone it was off for a significant chunk of time between 7am (maybe earlier) and probably somewhere around 10am.

There does seem to be random periods where the entire operation goes offline for no apparent reason.

goes offline for no apparent reason.

That's about the sum of it. I have been investigating but there's nothing obvious, the system load just seems to spike for no reason and everything then falls over. Sometimes it'll come back of its own accord like this morning, but other times needs a manual reboot. I'll keep digging.

I still think it's a tad early but maybe I'm just being a Scrooge!
