One thing I have to mention about the gallery is the "Hide Poor Designs" feature. It does help filter out some of the rubbish that doesn't warrant looking at or comment. However, it means that some designs that are poor, but could easily be improved upon, end up disappearing (and no doubt confusing some people into thinking that their mock has disappeared - which would be more of a problem when Neon replaces the old design).

If it is to be kept as a feature, I think it should be off by default, just so the conversation can be kept going where it needs to be.

I'm sure making the feature be off by default isn't the biggest change in the world, but I think it's one that will make a significant difference.

Perhaps, you should make a thread that is relevant to the forum you post it to, one that isn't as dull as dishwater and rehash of something you made a few months ago?

So asking about tv pres on a tv pres forum..... seems relevant to me.

Oh youmean daybreak? If you don't like a thread then move on....its a forum for all tastes....

But it wasn't asking about pres, it felt more like doing your homework to finish a wiki. That and it's a topic you bring up again and again and people get tired of it. The response you got should show that people aren't as interested as you are.

Well that not what Im after, I'm not after information written form etc, its had NOTHING to do with " homework to finish a wiki" so please get that straight out of mind. Wiki not going to have proper list of pres since ti much easier just to have pics and videos to explain it better.

I have spoken with a few people who do actually collectors of pres video etc, and there have asked me if a certain clip has ever appeared. Problem is I have no idea, and even just of last week I ended up an debate about Scotland today and because there was no ref to it anywhere I never know about this red look.

You cant claim the responses I got prove people are not interested, less than 90mins it was lock. It will take days etc for.

Enquire may result in the fact of compiling a general list which isn't directly intended to help a particular sites as say but more of to enhancing this "hobbie" for the use of better words. I enjoy looking up and seeing the old pres of yesterdays, there there whole Treasure chest of stuff which may never see the light of day again but im sure there more out there waiting to be viewed and enjoyed. One of these days someone else will ask about old an tv pres and people will be clueless or will jog someones memory

Love the double standards here. I think you're being far ruder to 623058 than WillPS was to DVB Cornwall in this very thread. Typical of the moderation of this bloody website though.

If a post receives as many RTPs as that one did (even before the totally off topic posts) then I have to do something. And since it very quickly went off topic I locked it. Another could be made if you felt it suitable, but to me the overall response would seem to indicate that it wasn't wanted.

At the very least it should be in Media Websites and perhaps set up a dedicated "looking for" website which you can use to ask for missing info, or people to place it.

I have to ask, it appears that what you're saying is that you can be as rude as you like so long as you have a mandate to do so, can you confirm that is what you're saying?

Can you also confirm whether said mandate allows you to be ruder than the level of rudeness at which you'd reprehend a member as part of your moderation duties?

Perhaps, Bail realises the elderly deserve a certain degree of respect?

I like to be rude.

Say what now? I didn't take the topic in question so wildly off topic, I merely put an end to it. My post above simply explained (in my opinion) why members took against it.
