Well thats rather nifty, and I'd say Asa probably could customize the flv player if he wanted in the future..

Any just so I can see if it works and be the 2nd person to use it, here's a storyfix mock I made a wee while ago.

Edit: Don't suppose theres anyway to ensure things get displayed in the right ratio?

Actually, you're not the second person to use it, it was used in the bbc1/2 shutdown thread.

Not that I'm keeping a log of it Laughing

The seeker problem must be related to the FLV file I uploaded considering it works fine on Asa's and Bail's. BTW, great quality on yours Bail, what settings was it encoded with?

I used flash itself, at the one of the higher settings then just saved the flv. The original was a full quality mov to.

Oh I see. For some reason the movie encoder on my copy of Flash now asks to insert the CD, which I don't have.

One thing I notice is the page title changes to (presumably) the video number when it plays.

Nothing major but it's worth a point-out.

It doesn't change for me.

In fact, I might have just figured out why.

With IE7, you have to click on the Flash object to 'activate' it. Whenever it gets clicked, it changes the topic title to the post number. It only seems to happen on here right enough.

Does anyone know how to stop IE doing this?

I find that so annoying in IE, where you have to 'activate' it. Like its gonna stop anything bad happening to your computer.
