I keep seeing the posts excepts on the homepage being attributed to the previous poster in that thread. Example being right now in the Newsroom where on the homepage the post is apparently written by
BBC News Fix
, while it's actually by
coolalfieo
. I've seen the same phenomenon on other sub forums too, but it's pretty random where it shows up.

Ooh, Avast had detected a threat with a user-uploaded image on the home page! A false-positive, or is anyone else experiencing it with other anti-virus software?

There's been an RTP and email from a couple of other members too. Suspect it's a false positive as Kaspersky and Symantec haven't flagged anything. At least it's off the homepage now anyway.
When on the Multiview page, the page navigation links ( [1] [2] [3] ... [10] [Previous] [Next]) only appear at the top of the page, and not at the bottom as well. A very minor issue, I know, but it would be nice to not have to scroll up to the top of the page each time
Thanks for the continued feedback and bug spotting by the way. I've seen a few things whilst browsing the site too so hopefully I'll get an update out soonish.
When you click on the Twitter button on a reply it says "Copy the Twitter shortcode beginning [tweet https://twitter.com... into your post.". What does this mean? I know how to embed tweets but I'm struggling to work out what the instruction is telling me to do. Copy from where?
Also, if you embed a video, the video doesn't seem to load in the preview but is fine when you actually submit the post.

On a page for an individual tweet, you used to be able to get more than the HTML code for embedding the tweet. One of the options was the 'shortcode', but they've since gotten rid of it from the embedding options.

On Twitter, click on the Tweet you want to use and then click on the 'Details' link at the bottom of the Tweet. It should then open a page of its own. Copy the URL of the Tweet from the address bar and paste it in the code [tweet *] where the * is the address.
For example [tweet

When I quote someone, and then write something under it before creating a new paragraph (hitting enter twice) the space in between the two disappears when I post.

I've been correcting it manually by adding extra blank lines where necessary.
