It's a perfectly sensible omission - underlines are pretty much always taken to be links, so the U tag is rubbish for usability.

Considering that's only true when you hover over links here (not to mention the fact they're coloured differently), I thought it might be down to the fact that the <u> tag is non-standard; however, it appears to be handled properly - in which case, the underline style could be altered if it were to be found to be too similar to hyperlinks.

I've also noticed the changed from struck through titles for locked threads to a nice little padlock - it looks quite nice (it probably conveys what it's for a bit better too).

The Twitter link on posts by DVB Cornwall doesn't work. The link currently points to https://twitter.com/https://twitter.com/#!/KernowChris

It's not a neon problem, it happened on the old site too. I expect as the problem only exists on posts by DVB Cornwall that it is his TV Forum profile at fault. Maybe someone could have a quiet word with the geezer? I would send him a tweet myself but I have absolutely no way of knowing what his Twitter name is.

A complete guess - I would say it's KernowChris. I may be wrong.

I thought David might be pointing out the fact that the links do not work, because of the 'twitter.com/https://twitter.com' part of the URL messing it up.

Yep. Unsurprisingly, the avatar matches his Metropol one. David, all you had to do to find his Twitter was remove the extra https://twitter.com from the address. Like so: https://twitter.com/KernowChris And DVBCornwall's mistake was putting the full address in the Twitter box under Online presence in his profile - he only needed to put KernowChris in that box.

Thank you for this. If the forum had a way of giving you a thumbs up or some kind of thanks then I would definitely apply it to your post. So, DVB Cornwall's real name is Chris Kernow. Who would have thought? Everyday's a school day.

I've just noticed that we can now read topics from the start back in 2001!

Is anyone else suffering with HTML5 YouTube videos not going full screen properly when embedded on here?

Isn't that a limitation of HTML5 rather than Television Forum? You can toggle the YouTube HTML5 player here...

I see that 'previously known as' is now popping up alongside the username of recently rebranded members, which is very nice. However, if I had one criticism, it would be that it does fill the username ribbon quite a bit, to the point it could also be seen as a bit messy - I think incorporating it into the rollover that shows you how many posts and the joining date of the member could be an idea, but less visible?
