I'm not seeing any new TV Forum logo yet, but unless I'm very much mistaken 22nd March 2017 marks 16 years since the forum launched. Happy Birthday!

Now inkeeping with forum traditions, should we all impatiently guess whether the logo will be updated to say TV F16rum, TXVI Forum, or something else. Oh, and of course despite not seeing it yet, I already have to say I much preferred the old one! Very Happy

No new logo this year, shoehorning the year into it was becoming increasingly tenuous Laughing Although I could have done a generic balloon one I suppose. Anyway, happy 16th to this place and TV Whirl!

Happy Birthday, TVF!

It's alarming to think that students studying for their GCSEs in 2017 were born the year that TV Forum launched and also as I was studying for my own GCSEs!

I have to say that even after 16 years, TV Forum is still the first website I visit every day - and has been consistently since 23 March 2001. I didn't quite make it to the party on TVF's first day as I was on an overseas school trip but managed to sign up the day after when I returned home. It feels like a lifetime ago now.

The other scary thing is that it's 9 years since I stepped down as a moderator here and Bail took over. We'll be wishing him well on his 10th anniversary in the role next year!

Craziness! I started posting as johnnyboy in 2002.

I was 28. I'd just got the internet at home in the previous 12 months. I thought it was the bees' knees. To the younger posters on the forum, a good part of the membership here are the last generation that had a significant part of their lives without the internet and mobile phones. How ancient must we sound to you? Smile

Since then, I've got married, had two babies, moved three times, and sold a business. Now, I've just got to figure out what to do with the next 27 years before I retire!

Happy birthday TVForum. Thanks for some fantastic memories and laughs.

Joined in June 2001 whilst I was doing my GCSEs. I was thin, and had hair. 16 years later... Sad

I find it more disturbing that there are probably members who are younger than the site...

At 46 I must be positively ancient in comparison to others Shocked
Time for a Dr Who-style regeneration perhaps?!

I'm glad that there are members older than me on here. I'm 38 this year.
