That's not going to be easy to replace. It's three images, not just one.

STV's regions have STV North and STV Central after the STV logo. They're region names, not local news names like the BBC ones. Changing it to say UTV Live would be inconsistent.

Why are the BBC names the news service names and the ITV ones not? Would it not be better to have them both giving the same info?

Has the logo changed? Tv Forum

Nope, just a special logo for the UTV rebrand. A nice touch too.

Is the 'popular days' section new?

No, it isn't.

Erm, well I haven't seen it before. Why so blunt?

What's blunt about it. There's not many ways to answer a yes/no question.

An oddity in the menu section now where threads started over the last few days which have been replied to are showing as having "0 views".

I just swapped the image for the new UTV logo. A new design will just have the UTV logo as it's self explanatory without the text next to it. I went with news for BBC and regional station for ITV as that seemed the most obvious differentiator for each part of the UK for that channel.

I turned off the views updating just in case that was causing issues with the load on the site, but it isn't. Out of interest, does anyone find knowing the number of views interesting or relevant? Or is the post count more valid?

Is nice to know a post you've made has at least been read even if not replied too, though it's probably one of those things that if you quietly removed it I wouldn't notice for ages.

Both are useful terms telling of engagement.

Now I like seeing post counts, but I also like seeing view counts. But which is better? Etc. Smile

View counts are interesting to monitor for new threads but IMO become meaningless when the thread balloons and the view count goes over 10k.

As to number of posts in a thread, always interesting, though whether some of them add to the discussion is always open to debate Smile
