Sorry for the blip at 9pm, was trying to rule something out. It may (will) happen again in a few minutes!

Is anyone else having trouble with the PM system? Just that a few of the messages I've sent/received have been blank.

Just received one and it's blank for me also.

Can't see the response when hitting quote/reply either.

Yeah, I'm finding if I hit quote nothing comes up in the quick reply box. It will if you keep hitting quote or multiquote on other posts, then you have to delete everything and start again and then it works fine.

EDIT - And as soon as I hit submit for this post, the site crashed, but seems to have posted it anyway.

I just got the 500 message after posting in the London Live thread.

Just saw that message. Site was only really down for a couple of minutes - not 23 hours as the error indicates!

No, it isn't.

This is being a head scratcher, I can't see in the code where it might be blanking out the message. Can you send a test message to one of those you sent to/received from a blank message, just a very basic one word or something. That'll maybe help to see if it's an account problem or failing because of some odd characters in the message (are you pasting messages from Word for example?)


Also sorry for the continuing lock-ups every so often. My hosts are provisioning a new server which I hope will fix it.

Erm, well I haven't seen it before. Why so blunt?

For thise in NI, we have UTV/UTV beside the usernames. Would it not be better to have the ITV logo and then UTV in text or the new UTV logo and then UTV Live instead of just UTV? It seems strange having two mentions of UTV when the BBC part gives the name of the local news service not just the region.

Also, there's an old ITV logo still on the region selection page on the member list page - http://tvforum.uk/forums/memberlist/itv/
