Yep, it's just not working very well. I tried setting the cookies differently last night and corrected the server time which was an hour out (thought it may have affected sessions going awol) but it hasn't made a difference, I'm getting logged out on phone/tablet too.
So it's back to the drawing board, I'm going to dump the third party login script and write something similar to the old site. Assuming there isn't something specifically weird about these new .uk domain names, it should work.

Can we have a kids forum where all discussions about current/recent kids programmes & channels can bugger off to and stay out of everyone else's way? It's all well and good having a nice, wee nostalgic thread here and there when anniversary approaches or a show is revived, but the recent spur of threads are quite annoying.

It seems fairly indiscriminate, many affected on mobiles too. I'm testing a re-jigged version of the original session management code right now so hopefully will have a fix live next week

Suppose, right now that is how it is. If more threads jump up, I'd suggest this again. A 'Tape Room' would be another idea for the exact opposite, for those yearning for the old days of TV...you know, when everything was black, white and grainy...
