It may be worth deleting all 'tvforum' cookies from your browsers. I had been getting logged out when changing devises, however deleting the cookies and logging back in seems to be doing the trick *famous last words*.

I was able to remain logged in via my laptop, tablet and phone before the change. Now on every device after closing the website down it logs me out...

I'm having this issue too. I also can't log in on my phone.

I noticed that I was logged out of the web version today after logging in to the site on my mobile yesterday although I always have the 'remember me' box checked.

I use 4 different devices regularly. Every time I log into one I'm logged out of the others. Sounds like an ill thought out attempt at "security" (a mistake I used to make myself when building sites until I got fed up of the user complaints).

If it's not going to change can we at least have the reply/quote button visible when you're logged out, that takes you to the login page and then to the correct reply page so you don't have to go tracking down a login link just to post a quick reply / answer.

Overall, I'd rather have the old front page, bugs and stuff than the new login "features". It's a definite step backwards.

No, it's a bug not a feature - to limit a forum login to one device each time would be crazy. But it's not just a case of one device throwing another out - I've been logged in to two devices for days, and now in a third without affecting the other two. Something is invalidating the login and I've put some more debug in to try and find the cause.

Tried this tip a few days ago and it has been working for me. I deleted cookies for 'tvforum.co.uk' (not 'tvforum.uk') and signed in again on each device. Haven't been logged out again since.

One of my devices is brand new, it's never been to tvforum.co.uk, and exhibits the same problem. But I'm on the same device as my last post, but I've been logged out again as soon as I hit the topic page.

Apologies Asa, I didn't mean that to come across as "you're an idiot and have deliberately broken it", just describing what it looked like from my experience, although on second reading Embarassed

It's fine, I know it's frustrating. Anyone (re)logging in from today should find their logins persist now, sorry for the inconvenience. Now back to the Android issue...

A couple of people have mentioned forgotten password issues. Is it a case of not receiving the email, the verify link in the email not working, or changing the password and then finding you can't login?

Can we get a link to Metropol on the forum pages somewhere? Even if not in the top bar then maybe down at the bottom under 'contact us'. It's a minor pain having to click back to the TVF homepage to click through.

When the new look was first unveiled, I couldn't login so tried to reset. The email came and all seemed to work (success message etc) but I couldn't login with the new password either. I tried it a couple more times just in case I made a mistake but still no luck.

When I saw other people were having problems with the login and resets I thought I'd try my original password and hey presto it worked! Seems like it never did reset after 2 or 3 "successful" attempts and I've been logging in with my original password since.

Have logged out, cleared all cookies on both home and work computers and logged back in on them. Still having the same experience - logging in to one automatically logs me out of the other. Sad
