When will the Twitter button going to get fixed and actually work?

Putting aside the fact your question doesn't make sense, It does work and always has done! It tells you what to do to embed tweets - if you can't do it then that's not Asa's problem!

Saying that, I do find that the bottom of the tweet is sometimes cropped off, but that's different from it not working at all.

Where do you find the short code for twitter? I yet to see it, also its somewhat strange, when you quote a Twit, it has the normal code....

How this is surpose to work is, I place this code, then highlight, and click the twitter button

You don't highlight, the button just gives you the instructions on how to do it. You type "[tweet", then a space, then "URL-of-tweet]"

Presumably because it's not as straight forward as [twitter][/twitter].

Adding the button was done as a bit of a quick win to make it obvious you could embed tweets. At the time Twitter offered up a bit of text beginning [tweet... so the idea was you'd just paste that in rather than manually entering it like you do with URL/YouTube etc. Not sure if they still offer that.

I've noticed the cutoff happening a few times too, I'll look into it.

There seems to be a problem deleting accidental posts at the moment?

Usually if I post in error and delete it straight away then that's fine. But the past few weeks it's been impossible to delete the post even if trying to delete it straight away. Is this an error that needs to be fixed?
