I'm outraged at being conned into reading a Tumble Tower post. We've all been aware for a while that
certain
users don't get attributed correctly on the home page when they make a post, and it appears that Tumble Tower is one of these special people.

How am I supposed to operate my "I can't believe he actually exists, so I'll deny that he does" filter if your website goes and masks his posts and pretends that others are making them
I demand a refund of my membership fee and a donation towards my counselling fees after being subjected to such emotional trauma after the fraudulent and misleading activity of this website.
I have the same problem! I also have error messages appearing whenever I post. I have contacted the administrators many, many times, but they are too lazy to respond.

Could it be an intermittent problem only affecting users with spaces in their usernames?
OF
No, I dont think so when I had my last username it didnt have a space in it and had the same problem as Shane Forster and Tumble Tower

I was using the DVB Cornwall Link Generator Emulator to generate a link for use in a thread in the Mass Media and Tech forum. The ellipses in the introduction to the link ("…") do not appear properly, and seem to (intermittently) appear as "…". Usually, this only happens when they're in quote tags (and sometimes happens with quoted articles), but I presume as the Mass Media & Tech forum is newer, the code may vary a bit from the other forums. (EDIT: The problem occuring in posts intermittently appears to be an issue with this browser, though it still happens in quotes in other browsers).
I presume, again, that this happens with other special symbols, and may mean that increasingly popular emojis such as 🚾 and ♿ may not appear properly either (I've seen the smiley-face variants used here quite a bit).
I'm not sure if it's an easy thing to fix, or is that annoying to people, but I thought I should mention it.

Are fantasy rotas still disallowed on the forum? I don't have a hankering to make one myself, but ASO made one in the ITV News Presenters & Rotas thread - not realising that, at least at some point, they were/are banned. Since the special rota thread rules that were in Neon aren't there any more, he wouldn't have known.

To save Bail having to repost:
Apparently, it's customary to bang a gavel when such rulings are made. Here is an image of such a thing happening:

Not only that, but the rota thread rules that I mentioned seem to be back again, so thank you to the people instrumental in their return. It was one of my favourite features of Neon because how swish it looked integrated into the forum software like that.
Official Ruling: Fantasy Rotas = Bad.

Forgive me if this has been flagged up before, but when I'm visiting the mobile version of TVF on Chrome on iOS, I'm never getting the same thing twice, either I'm logged in and everything is fine, or I come to the homepage, it shows I'm not logged in, when I come to Log in it's already saying that I'm logged in, or simply that I'm not logged in at all. Not sure whether it's a defect with Chrome or if it's something fixable this end, I'd thought I'd flag this up, thanks.

I disagree with you. Under what circumstances would you not return to a thread that you have participated in?
BTW. I've sent you a PM to let you know that I have quoted you.
Is it just me that thinks it would be good to have a notification every time someone quotes you? I think I would find it useful to know if someone is disagreeing with me or expanding on a point.
