Meanwhile, I wait in hope that Metropol will update their Christmas theme to match BBC Two's again...

Looks like you're out of luck.

I have to say, I really like the night colour scheme - it should be instated full time!

Was the concept inspired by the old Yorkshire and Tyne Tees idents from the 90s?

Came here to say what Mike has already said. I think I prefer the dark blue.

Also, when it first launched I wasn't sure about the new look but having now got used to it I can't imagine going back to the old one. Really like the mobile optimisation.

I agree keep the dark blue at all times. Maybe bring back the light blue for May - August Razz

I would love to say yes! But the truth was that I saw a Christmas picture which used those darker shades of blue and thought it might look good but didn't want to lose the TVF blue so just went with both.

Does that mean light blue will be used 6am - 6pm and Dark blue for the other 12 hours?

I'd rather dark blue full time - it's less garish (no disrespect Asa!)

Yes, I can tell you it'd look less garish without removing any of that!

lol, well you wouldn't be losing the usual shade of blue anyway. It's still there on all the interface elements. Smile

Am I the only one who prefers the usual blue? As much as I do love the dark blue, I feel that the usual, lighter blue is the better of the two.
