I agree keep the dark blue at all times. Maybe bring back the light blue for May - August

Was the concept inspired by the old Yorkshire and Tyne Tees idents from the 90s?
I would love to say yes! But the truth was that I saw a Christmas picture which used those darker shades of blue and thought it might look good but didn't want to lose the TVF blue so just went with both.
Does that mean light blue will be used 6am - 6pm and Dark blue for the other 12 hours?

I'd rather dark blue full time - it's less garish (no disrespect Asa!)

That depends what does it look like with No xmas stuff on it.

lol, well you wouldn't be losing the usual shade of blue anyway. It's still there on all the interface elements.
