Err so you want it taken down but have quoted it here. Ok Rolling Eyes

I saw it a few years back, thought it was amusing to see someone go to so much bother to have a pop at us. Think it says more about them.

so its not all bad Wink

That’s not the only definition though Shocked

Has your username always been the same? I did try to map up the ones I could but if you let me know, I’ll set your proper date.

I'm pretty sure most of the 2001 joiners are still here.

No, I've changed it at least twice, but can't remember what they were?!

I'm an original 2001 joiner, though I stopped posting for a while and my account was deactivated for inactivity, and I couldn't be bothered to get it reactivated, so just set up a new one.

I also originally registered at the start of the forum in 2001, under the name 'RW', but when everyone had to re-register, in early January 2003 I think, I was without a computer for a few weeks so wasn't able to register again until the 25th of that month.

Yes, a 2001 club member here too. I seem to recall I registered on Day 2 of the forum's existence due to being on a school trip to Belgium. I was gutted I couldn't register on the first day. That said, I was also gutted that I missed most of the joint BBC News coverage in the wake of the BBC bomb. That had happened the weekend before I went on the school trip, so I saw the immediate aftermath and joined up coverage from BBC World (very much a rarity in those days) but sadly not the first couple of weekdays. By the time I got home, they'd gone back to normal.

I'll second Neil's cheeky request. Would be great to have a "founding member" badge or something Very Happy

Good idea or bad? Current header vs the "Obit Header" which would last a few days (of course, this needs thinking through practically too, like where to put the header tabs, but it's just a quick and dirty idea)

For context if it DOES get taken down. Otherwise, you just know someone's going to ask about it later.

I would personally argue that that could be useful in the event that it comes to the forum's attention that a long-standing and prolific member has died - i.e. forum members who have been here longer than you've been alive.

However unless Mr Sissons has been a regular contributor to TV Forum, something like what you've posted just because a well known TV personality has died seems OTT in all honesty.
