I think it's easier on the eyes...
but I'm really glad to see the news titles from the 1960s and that they've filled in the gaps in their other news clips from the 1990s.
I hope they can find the elusive first version of the Nine O'Clock News titles.
Otherwise, fantastic job!

Sorry. Don't like it. Certainly not worth the hype generated here by some. However, that's just my opinion and others no doubt will disagree... Apologies in advance if anyone's offended.

Where are the clips that were added to BBC News section in the sample page a few weeks ago. Why have the ITV News sections, and other sections not been updated?

I'm sorry- do you have ANY idea how long that update must have taken?
Where's your web site if you are such an expert matey?
It WORKS- more than I can say for a lot of other sites mentioned on here- in fact it's THE most successful relaunch of such a large site that I have seen.
I for one, as the owner of a branding company give the guys at TVArk a hats off for what they have managed to acheive.
Well done guys!

And rather surprising that they've left it designed for 800 width, while everyone else is taking the chance to go to 1024 on any re-launch.

A very underwhelming re-launch.

Tad disappointed myself. The element of something 'evolving' is there but just not utilised fully as far as it could be. To me the design's changed but there's still that element of the old look & style there that puts me off.
And Nick I have no idea what sites your seeing that are now spanning to 1024 wide. So far relaunched sites I've seen have stay within 775 or use the 100% value which will span across the entire screen?

What a bunch of anal retentive picky buggers you lot are...
...800 by 600 is just fine...if it bothers you that the entire width of your screen isn't filled then lower your resolution
...you can go and shock yourself with that "special spark" you think is missing...the "spark" of TV Ark is all of historical content that nobody else has...if you can't appreciate this because gray isnt your colour then you really should keep it to yourself
...and evolution is a process that is continuous and unending, so it will never end up "as far as it could have gone," nor should it
sometimes i wonder if it's actually possible for some of you to be pleased with something

But it does have the content which sets it apart far more effectively than a large collection of pointless, whizzy graphics.
Give me content rather than style any day (as long as the design is clear and logical).

For a re-launch of such a vast site, it really could of been better. The new design is cleaner, but still hasnt got that special spark which sets it apart...

If that "special spark" is anything like what happened to The TV Room, I'm glad TV-ark doesn't have it.
