Wow! Very quick indeed. I was thinking at least March before the children's section came online, but when last night I saw that your YouTube account was being filled with Christmas Milkshake and Shake videos, I couldn't believe it!
Albeit some minor spelling mistakes (Mostly stuff like "Fi
b
e News") which is probaby just because you're typing fast to get the site online, everything on the website is fantastic.
Congratulations to ashley for such a fantastic website!
EDIT: BTW The news page has the "Main Idents" banner, just thought you'd like to know.
Very nice. A hell of a lot of content, no original Milkshake though, and no titles from when the core relaunched, but otherwise very good indeed.
Yes, unfortunately I've not got much of the early milkshake stuff (if anyone has and would like to contribute to the site, let me know!). With the core relaunch, I wasn't expecting it to go quite so quickly and so missed capturing the titles at the time, and so the only example I have is that short sting.

EDIT: You've also missed the hilarious Milkshake titles on TV Ark, I was in hysterics just looking at the one who replaced Kemi and her little motion compared to all the others, especially on the form up at the end.
I can't see this on TV ark, where is it? I'm presuming it's nerwer than the ones I have as they still have Kemi in the (hadn't realised Kemi has left, I don't watch milkshake that much if I';m honest )

EDIT 2: Also forgot about NGA. Even though it was out of vision, I thought that the package was designed perfectly. It was aimed at the target audience excellently, but it took the position of the logo, and seemlessly flowed between idents and menu's with it.
If out of vision is to be done, this is how it should be achieved.
Oh I agree, I loved the package too, the music was good and worked well as a whole. I'll be getting other elements to the package (menus and brak stings) up soon.

Hehe, yes, I really should be careful with my spelling. The reason it wasn't so long to come online is due to how long I've been working on it.
All in time for the sites 5th birthday at 6 o'clock on Sunday March 30th (see the first page of this thread, hadn't realised it was the original thread, I'm sure I started a new one at some point when I couldn't find it).

I may have them somewhere, but it's somewhere in a large collection, I will try and get through them one day and sort out various pieces. I've most probably also got the titles to the unbranded slot that came pre core.

I haven't a clue. All I know is that I've got it downloaded, and it's preceeded by the TV Ark slide, it is hilarious though. I don't even know how I know her name is Kemi.
Liking the new look, I just don't think the What's new section looks categorized enough, unless it's just because I'm using Safari, but all in all a good looking design.
BTW I have the full version of the Five News with Natasha promo in .flv, .mov, and .mp4 formats if you want it.
It seems that Five News are now supplying Myspace with a unique news bulletin each day just before 5pm where Natasha Kaplinsky presents the 'Myspace tv' News bulletin!

Well it's 6 o'clock on Sunday March the 30th once again!
As you can see from the first post in the thread, it's five years since the launch of thisisfive (and indeed 11 years since the launch of Channel 5).
Anyway, my celebrations aren't quite as spectacular as I'd have hoped as I'ver notr been feeling too good, byt there's a new section for bits and pieces that don't fit anywhere else:
They're a bit better than the 7th birthday ones I managed (which consist so far of a message on the homepage, and a logo which still has '6' on it ).
Well done on making it to 5 years of the site though, and Happy Birthdays are certainly in order as its quite an achievement. I wonder if the Tellyweb awards were still running whether you'd still be winning the 'Best New Site' award mind. Here's to many more years!
