YouTube theme tune mashups are a thing of the past - you can now auto-generate them. Who knew that Beadle's About was really meant to have the same theme tune as The South Bank Show?
Only trouble I have with it (possibly just me) is the videos don't always load at the same time. It was only the second time I clicked the link that the final two notes of The South Bank Show synced with the "Beadle's About" title appearing.

Some good stuff here:
Brookside with the theme tune of Mind Your Language.
The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy with the theme tune of Bullseye
Emmerdale with the theme tune of Countdown
Mind you, Simon and the Witch with the theme tune of Bob Says Opportunity Knocks worked quite good as well
I think some of these mash-ups could work better with a bit more editing as opposed to just playing a random video and some audio as some have lead-ins and what not that throw it out. I saw Beadle's About with the Treasure Hunt theme and I reckon it would look great if I mashed it together properly and tightened it up. I might have a go at that actually later...
Sorry
with the theme of
The Sooty Show
is a good one, the 80s synths working well with the neon graphics/Corbett's face.
The Saint
with the theme of
Match of the Day
is incredible. Roger Moore's silhouette beating up bad guys to that triumphant football theme - and
Emmerdale
to the theme of
Going Live
makes random shots of Yorkshire countryside seem like the most exciting thing on the planet.
Perhaps the most surreal/poignant though is the 90s title sequence of
Hollyoaks
to the familiar theme of
Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads
. Trendy teenagers smiling and laughing to the wistful sound of "Oh, what happened to you, whatever happened to me..."
