Very kind of you. It's not radical in that you'll be completely lost the first time you see it but no image has survived the revamp, so the shaded boxes, diagonal lines, footer crystal effect and arrows are all out. There's a consistency to each page that's probably never been seen on this site before (eg the Profile and Memberlist pages!). Thrown in a few new features and I'm hoping it'll generally be received quite well.
(and yes, benjy did do the excellent header and Christmas version that's served the site so well for several years!)

You should let the metrodesigners loose on your site, they'd wave their magic wand and you'll be all fabness almost overnight .but not as fab as metro, not ever.

overnight? we spent an entire day arguing about the glitteryness of the stars and wondering whether they should have been snowflakes.
