Hmmm, yes. I really did believe that the new site would be up and running by this time but hasn't the past 12 months just flown by?
The swapping was a deliberate mistake and nothing to do with just re-using last year's file...err honest.

Oh and BTW, any reason why I am seeing just blank white in the top left just now, where the ident pic should usually be?
If I drag over the area, it reveals a snow animation - but obviously in normal viewing it blends into the white background.

Tantalisingly close. I really had hoped to have it ready for Christmas but just haven't had enough time to spend on it over the last few months. But very close - I'm looking forward to ditching what has become a very run down site (in terms of software and design, not content!)
As to the homepage - I gave today's picture the wrong filename.
