Can I request a start-up from RÚV Sjónvarpið please? I've got an old one on DVD from the 80s and I'd like to see how it differs now, if they still display the days programmes on a menu etc...

How would I go about getting the 1980s one for my blog if possible?
Edit - You said Start Up, they are not very exciting from what I remeber when it was free to air they do air a menu, I will see if I can get a copy since this video was recorded for me

Hmm, I'm not sure how I go about that I am already gasping for bandwith as it is, that would take alot I guess.

If you got any suggestions sure.
Perhaps the best way would be YouTubing some of the videos instead of putting them directly onto the blog. You can then embed them. Depends if YouTube go mad and delete your accout though I suppose.

I have a Youtube account as you noticed since you subscribed to my videos of Shortwave stations, I have thought about using it to promote my blog but well I've seen so many videos like mine and others about television go down in an instant, thats kind of impossible.

I'm not sure if it's still broadcast, but the Rai channels in Italy used to always play a corporate ident which incorporated the national anthem at startup and closedown. It was definitely still in use late last year on Rai Tre, unfortunately they now show RaiNews24 overnight, so I've got a strange feeling it has been put to its retirement. It might be worth looking if it's still broadcast, it would fit nicely into the blog.
