Hi,

A new baby and a heavy workload have both combined to rob me of any time for updating and maintaining The Continuity Booth (www.continuity-booth.co.uk) and so I've decided to close the site in January 2006.

If any webmaster of an existing television presentation website would like to take on the existing content and/or the domain name, please email me at webmaster@continuity-booth.co.uk.

Ideally, I'd like an existing site to take on all the content and possibly continue with the 'brand' as a microsite. I'm not planning to split up the content and give it out to several different sites, so please contact me only if you want the whole thing.

Also be aware that you'll have to host everything yourself and if you continue with the video files, they are very bandwidth heavy - about 4.5Gb a month.

Thanks to everyone who has visited the site and contributed to it over the last five years.

I am pleased to announce that content from The Continuity Booth will move across to The TV Room over the next couple of months.

I'd like to give a massive thanks to Mike Brewster for providing us all with The Continuity Booth, which IMO has been one of the best researched, informative television presentation websites - a wealth of detail, pictures and videos representing the art of continuity across the whole of the UK.

For me, it was a pleasure and a honour to be involved with the site during its lifetime, and while I am saddened to hear of its closure, I look forward to seeing its integration into The TV Room, a perfect home for a wonderful website.

Congratulations on your new arrival Mike and the best of luck in the future! Smile

I would echo those sentiments, and I look forward to seeing the content again on the TV Room.
