Another wrong content......
UK History and Yesterday are same channel, which the latter replaced the the former. TVARK however put'em in different page.

This is quite lovely and nostalgic in a way...it's like looking back at the rather odd 12-13 year old TV pres addict I was around the time I joined this forum. I would get so annoyed at inaccurate details on what was then a huge amount of various pres websites - MHP, TV World, Sub-TV etc, ironically TV Ark was probably the best and most accurate of the lot back then.

I gave up in the end as while some websites would correct immediately and thank me (Ark especially), others wouldn't - half the time because said website hadn't been updated in three years anyway. I remember spending ages writing a huge email to TV Cream giving exact corrections to every single one of the dates on one of their pages. Nothing happened. After that I realised it was a bit pointless - you can't fix every single bit of information on every single website no matter how many messages you send.

Saying that I understand how annoying it is and the less errors there are, the less they'll spread to other websites. The Meldrum Home Page (last updated in 1998!) used to be seen as the definitive pres site and it was error-ridden all over the place, although of course back in the 90s it was much harder to actually find this info. Just don't get too annoyed if websites stubbornly refuse to change - you know at least the right information so just ignore the falsehoods Smile

To be fair, you're absolutely right. Some of the newest shows have yet to be given a full review, but that's probably not because of lazyness, just the lack of people willing to update the pages with the details. I have posted corrections to the site, and they've always been corrected...

Most of the stuff I sent in has been changed months down the line, expect Passport quiz. I dare say there don't like me.

I was a UKGameshows editor around 2004-2005 and rewrote a huge amount of articles, basically half the shows listed as "current" had ended as long ago as five years earlier. In those days it was a lot harder to find the information though so I ended up searching newsgroups and old TV schedules. God knows what the login details were (or if I'm even still a member) - the problem is that even if someone went through every page and updated them all again, many will still eventually become outdated. It's either people not having the time or not realising the pages are out of date/inaccurate. Sadly I certainly don't have the time now than I did age 16 but hopefully others do.

Sending them comments should be fine as long as they're worded nicely and not in an potentially off-putting "WHY ISN'T THIS UPDATED" way Smile

It now seems that UK Gameshow site is black listed, there either dont care or don't want to know. I would not trust half the information. There ask for details and never get around to doing anything.

One of the reason I think there don't listen is one of its member is also Wiki and I keep proving said member wrong, especial when it comes to Blockbusters
