I think it looks a lot better - more modern and more Sky-like - but:
1) HAVE THEY GOT RID OF THE BLOGS?!
2) Prefer having a permalink for the front pages - even if it did changed every day ... Mad
3) the weather URL is a bit weird - site is nice though
4) Strange news on the main menu?!

Why is that needed? Sky and Fox are both run by Murdoch, so I'd have expected them to just promote Fox News.

It's just the latest in a long line of UK-based sites that like to pretend that people from across the pond give a shiny sausage about what we think. The Guardian, the Daily Mail and others already have US-facing homepages:
