Well on my computer people who use bold when they really don't need to are thoroughly annoying .

I was making fun of phil94's unnecessary emphasis

My aim was to underline that the new website has gone on air. If my emphasis was unnecessary , why do you have then a function with which you can highlight words? Isn't it significant enough? If you know what I mean.

Normal service resumes shortly

Back to Sky News. The new site seems to fit more in with the rest of the Sky.com site design, and yes it does look a lot more modern.

It's more in fitting with the Sky News brand IMO.

Is there no breaking news anymore? I yet did not see any stories highlighted with yellow on the new site.

The site looks very slick indeed.

Not sure about getting rid of the blogs however. Finding the analysis and comment stuff seems quite difficult, would be handy if there was a 'comment and analysis' homepage aggregating it all together (maybe there is and I just can't find it!).

Still the old site here.

For those of you on the new site, can you give a link to the address from a page on it?

Still the old style on Firefox with me at the minute. The article did say it would be rolled out over the coming days.

I'm on Firefox and the new site has been showing up all evening for me.

I noticed too the blogs were no longer on display, although there were so many in the first place and so few seemed to actually be updated regularly.
