Just having a browse of the forums there (purely out of boredom!) and this post by member, Stuart, caught my eye:

I've never read such rubbish in my life - even on Wikipedia!
So he's saying that *live* programmes on the BBC and ITV are on a delay? So the 10 o Clock news is on a delay? What absolute rubbish!
And what would a "REAL" TV channel be then? Ideal World???
*bangs head on desk through disbelief*

Personally, I don't consider the BBC and ITV channels to be superior to the REAL TV channels - by which I mean those that go out live everyday with minimal script and which have real interaction between the audience and the studio. Virtually everything "Live" that goes out on ITV and BBC is subject to a delay. Even BB "Live" is on a delay so they can kill the sound when somebody says something which would land the broadcasters in trouble (current problems notwithstanding - which may see individual housemates censored but which are pushing the ratings for C4 up to unprecedented levels).
