its now been a year since this launch, Im not sure how to rate it, its alright, I still think Iplayer, 4oD and STV player are all better ( yes I know STV or itv content is not on Seesaw yet)

I think its falling in to the same trap as ITV player having to much crap before the programmes starts, which is rather annoying, who wants to see 5 adverts plus a promos before start of a programme?

I think it should follow the STV and Ch4 model, have 2 adverts at most and then get straight in to the programmes then dump in the adverts somewhere inbetween

Im not sure if it has reached its limtes yet, but what to do lot think? has it done what it set out to do?

Should this not be in 'media websites'? We discuss the iPlayer, amongst other internet-based tv services, there.

ITV Player has the annoying 4 30 second adverts before a 20 second clip
that really pees me off.

I believe it was originally supposed to bring iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand Five into one, before it got stamped on for being anti-competitive, and arqiva bought the leftover technology and launched a meagre realisation of the initial concept.

I'd definitely prefer to use SeeSaw to watch 4oD programmes than Channel 4's own ropey website, but to be honest I tend to watch 4oD on YouTube.

Wow, that didn't last long!

I thought it was doing quite well?

They recently had the "SeeSaw it!" TV advert campaign as well.

Oh well - I guess the service got so watered down from the original proposal that it wasn't as popular as hoped.

Unfortunate victim of the recession and regulatory madness.

Shame.

Strangely all mention of tomorrow's closure has been removed from the site in the last day or so including the "The End Is Nigh" playlist they'd put together. I wonder if last minute funding has been secured? I really hope so.

It's still online but the actual content stopped working at around 11pm last night.

Really? Well that's odd, I'm getting this message on all videos:
