Retro TV Products

This is a shameless plug, so I hope it's allowed!

I'd like to introduce a new business I'm running in partnership with Nick Oliver - The Screen Works.

We have set the business up to license, create and produce items of interest to retro TV fans.

Our website is now live at www.thescoop.co.uk/tsw where our first product can be ordered, and our second pre-ordered.

Hope it's of interest.

Ooooh! Looks fab!

Any more designs coming along soon? I would love a custom t-shirt with SEX in the style of the old BBC logo with the coloured bars underneath. Laughing

Indeed it does look rather fab.

Will you sort of be rotating designs two at a time or will you be keeping a back catalogue of the old styles too?

All designs will stay online as long as they are in licence - there may be the possibility of restocking a sold out line if demand is high enough.

Fantastic, Best thing ever - I'll definitely get some!

You'll have to get some Central/ATV designs up there!

That's a great idea! I made my own ATV one about 10 years ago, I'm very tempted by both T-shirts - I recently found (and bought) one with the ITV Schools clock from the 70s/80s but I'll not put the link as it's competition for you!

I would ask though, any chance of producing T-shirts with smaller logos on over the left breast - like you'd see a Fred Perry or Adidas - I like the idea of having somthing that looks like a "label" which turns out to be the HTV or Southern logo...

Hmm, this sounds really interesting indeed. Any chance of having the Yorkshire TV logo/chevron or the Rediffusion adastral, maybe even the BBC bat wings? Profile Left

I know Yorkshire TV did produce some chevron t-shirts of their own as a friend of mine once won one off Richard Whiteley when he was a special guest at a nightclub. The sad thing was, he wore it without any sense of irony!
