We're not being revamped, I'm upgrading the forum. The forum will not be getting a colour change

Well why does your signature say:

Why bother upgrading? Surely it would be better to stick to a version while you at least get some decent posters on there instead of having problems everytime they release a new version of forum software.

Again it's just more pointless changes that could be done without.

Never have I really seen such a disaster in what a forum exactly wants to be.

So far I'm lost with what logo your actually using because you've had so many have you not, either that or it's too similar to another Poo forum lurking around... of which I'm sure you're all familiar with.

The site design is dire. If your going to make a site fit to everybody's screen then make sure you've got the content to fill it.

You've got 8 forums there. 1 of which is an Archive that will never be needed until the forums are filled.

Even this is too much to ask seen as only two of your forums actually have posts. (One of them is the Site Announcements)

QMC, Queen Marget College right? Where is the collegeness of it all. You seem to have lost the route you were going down and really turned that forum into even more of a waste of webspace and bandwidth than it was before.

Why can't you even get the logo at the top to match the colour of the background you've got.

Shut the beast down. It's more hassle than it's worth.

Also, can I ask why all websites made by "ROB FRANCIS DEZIGN" have the same logo?

I also note that you must now register to view the forums.

This is surely a way to drum up more members?

What is your reasoning for not allowing guests to browse the forums in read only mode? I can't understand it.

The problem with your forum is that it puts too much emphasis on "THE RULES", which in my opinion undermines the reasons for creating a forum in the first place.

I'm fairly certain that some people actually get a buzz out locking topics, canceling posts, addings naughty words to the swear filter and so on.

This is happening more and more to metropol, I've found newsgroups to be a much better source of converstation and opinion, and further, they are not usually moderated by some gimboid who thinks the words ******* and nigga can't be used in an inoffensive context.

If you think those rules are bad, check these out. I won't give the site address as there's content on there not suitable for some.

I wish that you guys would just leave him alone? I can confirm, as a moderator at QMC Forums that he is doing this, and I think its a fantastic idea. So just leave him alone eh?

It's not a great idea - what is the point in encouraging people to join a forum? All it gives the owner is the ability to say...I have 23 members!
Sites which revolve around general forums (ie. ones just full of off-topic, tv, computers, cars, music etc.) forums are doomed to failure as they have no purpose so say 10 people join. Even if he does give a tenner to CIN, of these 10 people maybe 1 might post regularly, but there is still no purpose to this forum.

Well in that case we should all register and bankrupt him... a silly idea whichever way you look at it.
